The REV'IT Ginza 3 shoes are designed for convenient, street looks, lighter use, commuter level duty. The ankle height works well with tapered motorcycle jeans and provide some protection with the padded/ reinforced ankle, hard heel and toe cap. The suede outer-shell is very compliant and is comfortable without break-in. But the suede is quite thin and does not provide the support nor protection of a thicker, full grain/top grain leather. The suede surface finish will also polish out on contact (i.e. noticeable wear marks on the inner shoe with contact to the bike's heel guard). The fit is true to size (mine is a size 40/ US 7), a normal width (D) and is walkable. The shoes are made in Portugal and seem well made. The Motorcyclegear.com sale price makes them affordable (I personally would not pay the full, suggested retail price for these shoes, it's overpriced). A good value from a good vendor.
