It works very well, though I haven't had to test it. I also supplement all back armor with chest protection, since I totaled my MT-10. Protection only works if you wear it. I'm an ATGATT, and proud of it. Saved my life during that accident, though that was Astars Jacket and chest pads. Truth be told, I now use all ASTARS chest protection in my jackets. They are much more affordable and available than the Dainese armor. You can't go wrong with either, so you might as well save a few bucks.
